VIOLAINE GAUDREAU (1943 - )
Born in 1943, Violaine Gaudreau lives and works in Montreal, where she received her diploma from the École des beaux-arts de Montréal in 1965 and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University in 1979.
A painter and printmaker, she is a member of ARPRIM (Regroupement pour la promotion de l’art imprimé) and Atelier Circulaire, winning its prize for large-format prints in 2001. A solo exhibition of her work took place there in February 2002. Violaine Gaudreau’s work has been regularly exhibited in Québec and abroad since 1975.
