Note:
Dalí created nearly 1700 graphics during his career. The prints the Spanish artist created in the 1960s are amongst the most sought after by collectors. Amongst the hundreds of works created in this period, are La Femme-Feuille and La Tête from Dalí’s La Venus Aux Fourrures suite. The continuous movement of the burin visible in both works are analogous to the contemporary emphasis on the fluent draughtsman style of Dalí’s paintings.
