English limited edition book translation from the Spanish edition by Warre B. Wells, published by Éditions Des Chroniques Du Jour, Paris in 1930. Cover photo by Man Ray. The English edition printed on behalf of E. Weyhe, New York City for editions 601 - 1,100. This lot being numbered 'Copy No. 1185' was printed by A. Zwemmer, London, UK (copies numbered 1,101 to 1,250). Soft red cover with gilt lettering on spine: 'Picasso'
