In 1925, Andrews joined the newly formed Grosvenor School of Modern Art as secretary. She learned to make linocuts under the influence of British born Claude Flight (1881-1955) who taught the medium at the School after he joined the Grosvenor School in 1925. Flight taught linocut and influenced many students and associates.
